Donghua University and Coach launched the ‘CHINA COOL’ cooperation project, which aims to encourage young students to combine Chinese elements with the strength of international brands, and to stimulate young talents to explore the passion of the fashion industry promote the development of school-enterprise cooperation through a series of activities including collaborative teaching, design guidance, creative selection and final results,; through the six-month Integration of industry and education, under the guidance of a team of instructors from the school and the enterprise, these young design students went through a series of defense and selection competitions to compete for the chance of landing their works, the winning team continuously enriched and perfected the creative content through field investigation, practice and practice. The exhibits are students of the design proofing works, both the full embodiment of the elements of the dynasty, but also the inheritance of the process. These are based on the independent innovation of Coach brand, bold and truth-seeking connotation of the creation and re-creation, fully reflects the designers of the new generation of consumer insights. Both sides also hope to use this project as an opportunity for the young and new design force to have a deeper interaction and inspiration collision, conveying the public’s unremitting pursuit of classic craftsmanship, presenting a wonderful and diverse innovative design ideas.
