在人类自然文明的进化史中,艺术与科技之间有着非常复杂的关系,这是不断在变 化的。观看“自然人类文明”,我们可以看到历史上艺术与科学多半处于严重的对 抗之中。可是,今天放眼全球,在“技术人类生活的世界”恰恰出现了“科技艺术”, 包括装置、实验音乐、新媒体艺术、混合现实等等。科学与艺术虽然不一样,但是 两者在历史上却有惊人的同步同调性,比如说希腊的自然观和模仿论。艺术上的模 仿论或哲学上的自然观是同调同步的,比如说到近代主体哲学与达芬奇他们的透视 法,以及透视法对几何学的运用,也是同调的。 在我们的今天的创作中,“科技艺术”的合法性来自于当代艺术无边界的艺术定义。 在我们的教学中,也在努力的把艺术、传统艺术、设计、未来设计的定义和边界擦 掉。擦掉以后我们的教学实践和创作实践变的自由,动用什么样的媒介是自由的, 通过什么样的媒介教学,传授用什么方法创作也是自由的。每一个教师的教学行为 都与他们的创作实践相关,在当代艺术的语境下,科技的研究方法及其后果也苍然 成为了我们创新艺术设计教育和教学实践的媒介与手段。 本次展览中我们邀请了创新设计学院的青年教师团队,带来了与课程教学相关的创 作实践与课程方案,希望能够将展览变成一个开放融通、思辨与创造的能量场。
In the evolutionary history of human natural civilization, there is a complicated and constantly changing relationship between art and technology. Looking at "Natural Human Civilization", we can see that art and science are mostly in serious confrontation in history. However, in the current "world of technological human life", "technology- inspired art" has emerged as installa-tions, experimental music, new media art, mixed reality, and so on. Although science and art are quite different, they are amazingly synchronized in history, such as the Greek Concept of Nature and Imitation Theory. The Imitation Theory in art or the philosophy of nature are synchronized. For example, modern subject philosophy and Leonardo da Vinci’s perspective painting, as well as the use of perspective on geometry, also share the same quality. In our creations today, the legitimacy of " technology-inspired art " comes from the borderless definition of contemporary art. In our teaching, we are also working hard to erase the definition and boundaries of art, traditional art, design, and future design and to free our teaching and creative practic. We are free to choose the medium and the way to teach. In the context of contemporary art, scientific research methods and their consequences have become the medium and means of our innovative art design education and teaching practice. In this exhibition, we invited a team of young teachers from the School of Design & Innovation to bring creative practices and curriculum plans related to their teaching experience, hoping to turn the exhibition into an open, integrated, speculative and creative energy field.

As the latest school settling in Liangzhu campus of China Academy of Art, School of Design & Innovation has taken "focusing on the integration of Arts and disciplines, promoting cross-border teaching, building an innovative community and rebuilding the design humanities" as its goal since its establishment in June 2018, and takes the highly integrated Design & Innovation course of "art, science and technology, and commerce" as its main discipline. With the advantage of cultural and industrial resources of the Yangtze River Delta, School of Design & Innovation sets up three majors – Art & Technology, Industrial Design, and Digital Media Art – and strives to cultivate students' aesthetics, technical learning ability, innovation ability and social perception. With the vision of "facing the future, society, reform and integration", the school integrates the innovative resources of global design education, explores new mechanisms of talents, teaching, management, and education, and promotes Internet-based intelligent manufacturing and design integration innovation, and creates a "new Bauhaus" in the era of big data and intelligent media.
