Tomorrow Theatre: Design, Technology, Aesthetic Education and Future
本次展览展示设计与未来生产生活方式，艺术与科技，设计与教育三个研究方向的部分成果。展览将有不同背景的学生口述对未来设计教育的理解，体现学院培养具有专业前沿视野、开放表达能力、综合分析能力和科学人文理念的复合型创新型人才的人才培养理念。 展览还将展示北京师范大学“未来设计种子基金”扶持的科研项目成果。“设计与未来生产生活方式”方向作品体现对未来设计的认识和解读；“艺术与科技”方向作品呈现艺术、数字、科技的跨领域交叉融合；“设计与教育”方向作品探讨青少年美育的创新形式。
The exhibition will showcase some achievements of three research directions: Design and Future Production and Lifestyle, Art and Technology, and Design and Education. Students with different backgrounds will interpret their understanding of future design education, which reflects the School education philosophy of cultivating innovative talents with professional literacy, cutting-edge vision, expressive open-mindedness, comprehensive analytical skills, and scientific and humanistic concepts. This exhibition, sponsored by the BNU Future Design Seed Fund, showcases works in “Design and Future Production and Lifestyle” with an understanding of Future Design; in “Art and Technology” with the cross-disciplinary integration of arts, digital and scientific-technology fields; and in “Design and Education” with an innovative exploration of youth fine arts education.

Beijing Normal University (BNU) is a key affiliated institution to the Ministry of Education and a leading university of higher education known for teacher education, education science and basic learning in both the arts and the sciences. While BNU Beijing Campus focuses on basic and applied discipline education, Zhuhai Campus, being adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao with an innovative atmosphere, is a southern campus cultivating outstanding teachers especially for the disciplines urgently needed by the nation. It is also a center for advanced research on education and a base for emerging interdisciplinary education, which meet the tasks of the Belt and Road Initiative and boost the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area integration. BNU School of Future Design (SFD) was established in June 2021 with its main teaching site constructed at Zhuhai Campus and other education bases in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao. Based on BNU leading disciplines and grounded at the cross-disciplinary research in arts, technology and education, SFD fosters an integrated practice of research, education and practice through collaboration across humanities, arts, design, technology, and social sciences.
