For the FutureLab, Institute of Art, Writing and Research at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Visual Arts will present an excerpt of art works by faculty that in different ways work with artistic research, including works from Nanna Debois Buhl, Anu Ramdas, Rikke Luther, Jenny Graf Sheppard and Katrine Dirckinck-Holmfeld. Rikke Luther’s current work explores the new interrelations created by environmental crisis as they relate to landscape, language, politics, financialisation, law, biology and economy, expressed in drawn images, photography, film, and pedagogical strategies. Dirckinck-Holmfeld’s Zamakan (SpaceTime) explores notions of affect, time and materiality through a collective engagement with the bar & cultural venue Sorte Firkant, which she cofounded in 2016.
