Reality, namely the Future
本次展览展出的是华东师范大学设计学院视觉传达专业学生的作品，学生将自己的创作转化为实际的产品，并且创立了自己的品牌与公司，从作品的创作、品牌的创建到公司的运营都由学生团队独立完成，市场效果良好，这是近年来学院进行的教学改革的一个组成部分。这项改革的核心是希望学生能够在学习的过程中在现实与未来之间构建起一座桥梁，以面向未来的视野来思考现实的意义，增强学习的动力与学习的价值观，在理想与现实之间寻找到合理的平衡点。
This exhibition will present the works of students major in Visual Communication at the Schoo l of Design of East China Norma l University. The students transformed their creative ideas into actual products and started up their own brands and companies. From the creation of the works and the brand to the operation of the company, everything is completed independently by our students, which received warm marketing feedback. This Project is also an integral part of the pedagogical reform of the School of Design in recent years, whose core is to hope that students be able to build a bridge between reality and the future during the process of learning,reflect on the meaning of reality with a future-oriented perspective, strengthen the motivation and values of study, and find a reasonable balance between ideal and reality

The School of Design ECNU was established in September 2004. With humanistic design as its fundamental teaching philosophy, the School of Design emphasizes the integration of design and nature, design and technology, design and art humanities, design and business model innovation as well as focuses on the improvement of students’ capability of independent study and self-growth. International programs and close cooperation with companies provide diverse cultural and practical application scenarios to our students. The School of Design has established a global university league with world-class colleges and universities, from which every student has the opportunity to obtain double degrees of ECNU and Foreign partner Universities. Free creation, experimental pedagogy methods, cultivation of artistic aesthetics, and the combination of theory and practice make up the main teaching characteristics of the School of Design, ECNU. Within the 15 years, our students’ works have been selected to the most prestigious art and design exhibitions worldwide, such as Triennale di Milano, Salone di Mobile, Triennale de Saint Etienne, etc. We have also held student portfolio exhibitions in New York, Rome, and Torino, etc.
