Living Fluidity
2020 年 6 月，清华大学美术学院在高质量线上教学的基础上，主动迎接挑战，创造性地以“2.5D 长廊“的方式，在移动终端上呈现了此次“云端毕业展”。本次展览共汇集了清华美院共 12 个培养单位 282 名本科毕业生和 167 名硕士毕业生的 1000 余件作品。它们如同一条创造力河流，生生不息地流淌在网络和赛博空间 ( Cyberspace) 中。清华美院的师生们也顺着这条河流行进到了一片全新的情境，思考艺术的更多可能性和发展机遇。 对现实时空壁垒的突破，更广泛的跨文化、跨地域的交流展示必定成为未来的常态。展览中呈现的教学成果和呈现方式体现了清华美院师生对变迁中的社会与文化的深入反思，以及挥之不去的深切人文关怀。在新“时空”中，同学们将自己的创作交由更广泛观众的检视，也必将促使他们以更深刻、更宏观的思维和视角来思考生命与未来。
In June 2020, on the basis of high-quality online teaching, the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University "AADTHU", presented the "Virtual Graduation Exhibition" on multiple platforms in the form of "2.5D Corridor" initiatively. More than 1,000 works by 282 undergraduates and 167 postgraduates from 12 Departments of AADTHU have converged into a creative “river”, surging through the realm of Internet and Cyberspace. Our faculties and students also marched along this river to a completely new situation, reflecting on the possibilities and opportunities of art in a developing way. By breaking the barriers between time and space, more extensive cross-cultural and cross-regional exchanges will become the normalization in the future. The teaching outcome and exhibiting method presented in the exhibition embody the introspection of teachers and students of AADTHU on the social and culture transformation, as well as the humanistic concern of art and design teaching. In this novel "Time and Space", students are able to show their works to a wider audience on the Internet, which will certainly provoke a more profound and macroscopic way to contemplate life and our future.

清华大学美术学院的前身是中央工艺美术学院，成立于1956年，是中国第一所高等设计艺术院校，汇集了当时全国最优秀的美术教育家、民族民间艺术研究者和海外留学归来的艺术家、设计家，在此后近四十年里是中国设计艺术领域唯一的一所独立建制的高等设计艺术院校，学院的教学思想和教学体系一直主导着中国现代设计艺术教育的发展，始终引领着中国设计艺术的发展走向。1999年11月并入清华大学，开始了在综合性大学中发展的新篇章。 目前，美术学院设有染织服装艺术设计系、陶瓷艺术设计系、视觉传达设计系、环境艺术设计系、工业设计系、信息艺术设计系、绘画系、雕塑系、工艺美术系、艺术史论系、基础教研室11个教学单位；党务办公室、院务办公室、教务办公室、科研办公室、国际合作与交流办公室、学生与校友事务办公室、离退休人员事务办公室等职能部门，培训中心、清华大学艺术与设计实验教学中心、美术馆等单位。
The predecessor of the Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University was the Central Academy of Art and Design, which was founded in 1956. It was China’s first art and design academy, bringing together the country’s best art educators, researchers, and artists returning from oversea studies. The school’s teaching ideology and teaching system have been committed to the development of modern art education in China and have been leading the development of Chinese art and design. It was merged into Tsinghua University in November 1999. At present, the Academy of Arts and Design has Dyeing, Weaving and Fashion Art Design Department, Ceramic Art Design Department, Visual Communication Design Department, Environmental Art Design Department, Industrial Design Department, Information Art Design Department, Painting Department, Sculpture Department, Arts and Crafts Department, Art History Theory Department, etc.
